Our Main Program

METRO MOVE FEST

The Nesfield Performance Foundation (NPF) was honored to host the inaugural Metro Move Fest on Sunday, May 21, 2023, reinforcing our commitment to empowering others to perform better in life. This annual event will continue to serve the Bethesda/Chevy Chase community, fostering wellness and inclusivity.

In partnership with the Metro Bethesda Rotary Foundation (MBRF), NPF worked to advance shared goals of promoting fitness, community, and inclusivity.

We look forward to bringing Metro Move Fest back in 2027 and are actively seeking partners who are passionate about making a meaningful impact through this vibrant community event.

Cholesterol "fine" What your numbers - and Workout - Are missing

June 18th 6pm

Think your cholesterol’s fine? Let’s dig into what your numbers and workouts might be missing for real health.

You got your bloodwork back. Cholesterol’s “fine” — or “a little high, keep an eye on it.” And your doctor’s advice was the same as always: exercise more.
Okay. But what does that actually mean for you?
Because here’s where most people are stuck:

  • You already work out — same routine for months — and the results have flatlined. The scale, the strength, the bloodwork: none of it is moving.
  • Or you know you need to start — you’ve walked past our studio on Wisconsin Ave more than once and thought I should go in — but you haven’t, because you don’t know where to begin.
  • Or you’re active, but your body has other plans. A knee that complains on stairs. A shoulder that limits what you can lift. You want to train hard — you just don’t know how to do it without making things worse.

Grounded: Foot Health & Performance

April 19th 1-2pm

Understanding Common Foot Conditions & Building Strength from the Ground Up

Your feet are the foundation of every movement you make. Join us for an educational session focused on understanding common foot conditions—such as bunions and plantar fasciitis—and learning how to build strength, stability, and resilience from the ground up.

Sound Healing Experience

March 22nd at 10am -11am

A peaceful Sunday morning session featuring a calming crystal singing bowl sound journey to help you relax, release tension, and reconnect.

Join us for a peaceful and relaxing Sound Healing Experience designed to help you slow down, relax, and feel more grounded in your body, mind, and spirit. This Sunday morning session is an invitation to step away from the busyness of life, reconnect with yourself, and begin your day feeling calm, clear, and restored.

You’ll be guided into a deeply calming sound journey using crystal singing bowls and soothing frequencies. As the sound washes over you, your nervous system naturally relaxes, helping your body release tension and your mind settle into a state of deep, peaceful rest.

No experience is needed. You don’t have to “know how” to meditate or do anything special. Just come as you are, get comfortable, and allow yourself to receive.

COmmunity Yoga
